Features and InterviewsHere you'll find interviews and features covering many fascinating artists. By design, the list (see right) reflects my own personal tastes. With few exceptions, I really dig all of these artists. And while their music is compelling, each of them has a story to tell. In this section, I let them tell it.Check back soon for upcoming interview/features covering the witty, articulate and legendary Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull; the extraordinary Pink Floyd tribute group The Machine; the clever, zany and massively talented quartet called Tally Hall; and an interview with Barry Tashian, leader of The Remains, the group that toured with the Beatles in 1966!. Many of these features were written for print magazines including Billboard, Shindig!, Skope, Mountain Xpress, WNC Magazine, The Laurel of Asheville and other publications. A few appeared on web sites like jambase.org, 60sgaragebands.com and such. And a select few have never been published before; they're from my private archives. I have more, too.
